This information
collection request was submitted pursuant to a reques for all
collections used when importing merchandise into the U.S. These
collections were reviewed as candidates for Customs' "Paperless
Entry Project". Based on our review, this collection has
tentatively been designated as a "fast track" collection i.e., one
to be added to the Customs system by 1990. As FDA and Customs work
to implement the paperless system, OMB should be notified about any
difficulties that will significantly alter the timing of this
portion of the project.
