The information
collection requirements contained in this interim final rule are
approved for nine months, through September 30, 1989, pending the
Department's review of comments received and any information
collection requirements in the final rule should be submitted to
OMB prior to the publication of the final rule, and should respond
to the comments submitted by Office of Federal Procurement Policy
(OFPP) in the letters of 1/27/89. Additionally, the Department
should re-assess the estimated burden associated with these
collections. Current estimates appear understated. -- See
Proprietary Industries Association (PIA) comments of 1/11/89.
