This ICR is for the renewal of the existing UIC information requiremen and is approved until 9/91, when the new Hazardous Waste Disposal Restrictions information requirements expire, on the condition that "burden boxes" are added to each form as required by 5 CFR 1320.21. The burden must be estimated for each collection or form and appear "a close to the OMB number as practicable" (preferably under the title). EPA will submit copies of all corrected forms by February 28, 1989 or required to resubmit the whole ICR again, discontinue use of the old forms and reprint forms with appropriate burden boxes. EPA shall provide copies of the draft revised forms before they are finally printed. In addition, and as a matter of clarification, States need only report annually except for the Significant Non-Compliance Form (7520-2 which has been approved for quarterly use. As outlined in some detail in our letter of August 7, 1987 to Patrica Minami on the subject of quarterly reporting, "reporting should not be more frequent than necessary" and until EPA justifies the utility of quarterly State reports, the frequency shall remain as specified in the current regulations (annual). In this ICR, EPA has only requested annual reporting.
