This ICR is
approved for three years but only for 1000 hours since the one time
burden to read the 1984 6(a)(2) policy statement (1000 hrs) has
been completed. In addition, the requirement to have 6(a)(2)
submitters retain their certified mail delivery receipts for the
life of the product shall be modified to two years. Keeping records
for the life of a product should be limited to health and safety
data itself. Also, EPA must bear the responsibility in maintaining
and recording when 6(a)(2) data is submitted. Two years is
consistant with most of the record retention requirements of CFR
169.2.
