Abstract: THIS SURVEY, WHICH IS SUBMITTED BY COMMERCIAL BANKS IN THE U.S., PROVIDES THE ONLY SOURCE OF INFORMATION ON ELIGIBLE BANKERS ACCEPTANCES THAT ARE LEGALLY PAYABLE IN THE UNITED STATES. THE DATA ARE USED IN CONSTRUCTING MEASURES OF MONETARY AND CREDIT AGGREGATES.
