Abstract: THE FOUNDATION'S SCIENTISTS, ENGINEERS AND OTHER OFFICIALS EVALUATE ALL PROPOSALS SUBMITTED TO THE AGENCY. TO ASSIST THEM IN THE EVALUATION PROCESS, THE FOUNDATION OBTAINS THE ADVISE OF SCIENTISTS, ENGINEERS AN OTHERS WHO ARE SPECIALISTS IN THE FIELDS COVERED IN THE PROPOSALS. ASSISTANCE IS OBTAINED THROUGH MAIL REVIEW AND ASSEMBLED PANELS.
