Abstract: THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS STUDY IS TO PROVIDE INFORMED GUIDANCE TO AOAREGARDING PRACTICAL TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE STRATEGIES AND POTENTIAL MANAGEMENT INITATIVES WHICH HAVE THE PROMISE OF FACILITATING MORE WIDESPREAD USE OF PERFORMANCE BASED CONTRACTING WITHIN THE AGENCY NETWORK. INFORMATION WILL BE COLLECTED THROUGH A TELEPHONE SURVEY OF 271 AREA AGENCIES ON AGING.
