THIS RESEARCH STUDY IS DESIGNED TO
DETERMINE THE NATURE OF THE COMMONALITIES AND DIFFERENCES
UNDERLYING COMPULSIVE BEHAVIORS. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED BY
THE ADDICTION RESEARCH CENTER TO INVESTIGA THE SIMILARITIES OF A
WIDE VARIETY OF COMPULSIVE BEHAVIORS INVOLVING DRUG AND NON-DRUG
STIMULI. SUCH STUDIES ARE INTEGRAL TO THE STUDY OF DRUG ADDICTION,
SINCE THEY PROVIDE A MEANS FOR DISCOVERING WHAT ASPECT OF
COMPULSIVE BEHAVIOR ARE UNIQUE TO DRUG ADDICTION AND WHAT ASPECTS
