Abstract: THE EIA-182 INFORMATION IS USED TO TRACK TRENDS IN DOMESTIC CRUDE OIL PRICES AND MARKETS. THE DATA ARE PUBLISHED BY THE EIA. THE DATA ARE ALSO USED BY THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT TO ESTIMATE MONTHLY WINDFALL PROF TAX RECEIPTS AND TO CALCULATE ALTERNATIVE FUEL INCOME TAX CREDITS FOR PRODUCERS.
