Terms of Clearance: THIS REQUEST IS APPROVED FOR USE THROUGH APRIL 1985. THE SECOND SENTEN OF PARAGRAPH FOUR OF THE MEMORANDUM TO THE FIELD OFFICES SHOULD BE REVISED TO READ "... PURSUANT THE PAPERWORK REDUCTION ACT OF 1980 AND ASSIGNED OMB CONTROL NUMBER 2502-0275." THE DEPARTMENT IS REMINDED TO DISPLAY THE OMB CONTROL NUMBER IN THE UPPER RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THE APPLICATION. DUE TO THE LIMITED AMOUNT OF TIME THE PUBLIC HAS HAD TO COMMENT ON THE APPLICATION, OMB RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY THE APPLICATION BASED ON PUBLIC COMMENTS.

Abstract: THE APPLICATION FOR TRANSFER OF PHYSICAL ASSETS FORM MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED TO HUD BY EVERY PROSPECTIVE PURCHASER OF PROPERTIES ENCUMBERED BY HUD-INSURED OR HUD-HELD MORTGAGES PRIOR TO THE POINT OF TRANSFER. THE APPLICATION FORM RECITES ALL OF THE DOCUMENTATION WHICH MUST BE SUBMITTED IN SUPPORT OF A REQUEST TO HUD FOR APPROVAL OF A TRANSFER OF PHYSICAL ASSETS. THIS FORM APPEARS AS AN ATTACHMENT TO A FORTHCOMING MEMO FROM THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF HOUSING, HUD.
