Abstract: THE INFORMATION SUPPLIED ON FDA 2704 AND FDA 2706, WHEN CORRELATED WITH THE COSMETIC PRODUCT AND RAW MATERIAL INGREDIENT DATA, PROVIDES FDA SCIENTISTS WITH A VALUABLE INSIGHT INTO POTENTIALLY UNSAFE INGREDIENTS IN COSMETICS, THEREBY IMPROVING THE FDA'S ABILITY TO ACCOMPLISH ITS MISSION OF PROTECTING CONSUMERS FROM INJURIES RESULTING FROM HARMFUL INGREDIENTS IN COSMETIC PRODUCTS.
