Abstract: INFORMATION IS OFTEN NEEDED ON A RAPID TURN-AROUND BASIS FROM THE ADUL POPULATION OF THE U.S. IN ORDER FOR TH AGENCY TO TAKE QUICK ACTION TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC HEALTH. THE MECHANISM PERMITS FLEXIBILITY IN TERMS OF SAMPLE SIZE AND GEOGRAPHICAL AREA AS EACH SURVEY SUBJECT MATTER DICTATES.
