THE INTERSTATE LAND SALES FULL
DISCLOSURE ACT REQUIRES DEVELOPERS OF CERTAIN TYPES OF SUBDIVISIONS
TO REGISTER WITH HUD OR TAKE OTHER STEPS TO COMPLY WITH THE LAW
PRIOR TO COMMENCING SALES. REGISTRATION OF SUBDIVISIONS WITH HUD
CONSTITUTES ABOUT 70 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL ESTIMATED BURDEN HOURS
AND 90 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL COST TO THE PUBLIC.
