Abstract: THE REGULATIONS (43 CFR 3500) WERE PROMULGATED TO IMPLEMENT THE PROVISIONS OF THE MINERAL LEASING ACT OF 1920, AS AMENDED. THE REPORTI REQUIREMENTS IN THE REGULATIONS ARE FOR THE PURPOSE OF VERIFYING THE PERMITTEE/LESSEE'S QUALIFICATIONS TO HOLD FEDERAL MINERAL LEASES FOR OTHER THAN OIL AND GAS.
