Abstract: TO ELIGIBLE INSTITUTIONS TO DEVELOP OR ENHANCE RESEARCH TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS SELECTED BY THEM WHO ARE INTERESTED IN CAREERS IN BIOMEDICAL AND BEHAVIORAL RESEARCH. DOMESTIC NONPROFIT PRIVATE OR PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS MAY APPLY FOR GRANTS TO SUPPORT RESEARCH TRAINING PROGRAMS. THE TRAINING PROGRAM DIRECTOR AT THE INSTITUTION WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SELECTION AND APPOINTMENT OF TRAINEES TO RECEIVE NATIONAL RESEARCH SERVICE AWARD
